Frequently Asked Questions
Can aggressive or reactive dogs do Board and Train?
The 1-Week Freedom Board & Train does not accept dogs with anxiety or behavioral challenges.
The 2-Week Board & Train is primarily designed for obedience. Some aggression, anxiety, or reactivity cases may be evaluated individually, but Dog Aggression & Reactivity may be a more appropriate option when greater owner involvement and behavior-management support are needed.
Complete elimination of aggression, anxiety, or reactivity cannot be guaranteed.
What happens after my dog comes home?
Owners receive one-on-one instruction after Board & Train so they understand the commands, handling, and continued practice.
Continued owner participation is important for reinforcing the skills the dog worked on during training.
Does Board and Train include lifetime refresher support?
The 2-Week Board & Train includes free obedience refresher lessons for the life of the dog.
The current detailed 1-Week program information does not state the same lifetime refresher benefit.
How do I know whether Board and Train is right for my dog?
Program fit depends on your dog’s age, current obedience, behavior history, temperament, and your goals.
A free phone consultation allows the team to discuss those factors and determine whether the 1-Week Freedom Board & Train, 2-Week Board & Train, or another training option may be appropriate.
